Paul confirms that it is not merely a privilege but the greatest blessing to be called in the service of Christ. As he explains ““But I reckon my own life to be worth nothing to me; I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do, which is to declare the Good News about the grace of God” (Acts 20:24). Is it a wasted life or a life well lived? Only the Bible can answer that. “And I assure you that anyone who leaves home or wife or brother or parents or children for the sake of the Kingdom of God will receive much more in this present age and eternal life in the age to come” (Luke 18:29-30). “Try even harder to make God’s call and his choice of you a permanent experience; if you do so, you will
never abandon your faith.” ( Peter 1:12).
