 The Vatican has confirmed that instead of living in the Papal apartments, Pope Francis will stay at the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta--at least for now that is. 

That's the residence where all cardinal electors are required to live in, during the Conclave. Once a Pope is elected it's customary for him to live there temporarily, during the transition period, but Pope Francis has decided to say there longer.
