As we showed you yesterday, the
Bishops of England and Wales are in
Rome for a retreat taking place at the
Villa Palazzola, the summer residence
of the Venerable English College
(England’s seminary in Rome). The
Villa is 18 miles south of Rome. Here
are a few more photos, which were
taken by the Bishops’ Conference. They
include some shots of the bishops at
the General Audience, pictures from
the mass earlier at the tomb of St.
Peter in St. Peter’s Basilica, and
pictures of the Mass celebrated at Villa
Palazzola on Sunday with the prefect
of the Congregation for Bishops,
Cardinal Marc Ouellet.
