All who call upon the Name of Jesus will be saved (Roman 1o:13) because there is Power in the Name of Jesus. Jesus means, ‘Yahweh saves’ and therefore, ‘Jesus is the only Name for our salvation (Act 4:12) because ‘Jesus is the leader of our salvation (Heb 2:10).
The Name of Jesus carries the Power of the whole Paschal Mystery; God’s plan for man’s salvation. ‘In all the world there is no one else whom God has given who can save us’ (Acts 4:12).After Ascension of Jesus, Peter began his ministry using the Powerful Name of Jesus and people were made completely well through the power of the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 4:10). Jesus gave His disciples authority and power over whole strength of the evil one when they used the Name of Jesus. It was the power of the Name of Jesus that the apostles used to heal people.
Jesus promised: ‘”In all truth, I tell you, anything you ask from the Father, He will grant it in my Name”(John 16:23).
