Benedict XVI: The Church has faith in young people

Benedict XVI has reiterated the Church's faith in young people and the importance of placing their education in the faith at the center of pastoral concerns. In his speech to the Pontifical Council for Culture, for their Plenary Assembly dedicated to the theme of emerging youth cultures, Benedict XVI highlighted the many "emergencies" that affect young people. Giving voice and space to young people is essential for any society that does not want to turn in on itself and indeed open up to the future.
