NOVENA TO THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT
SEVENTH DAY - Monday, June 16, 2014

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine.
All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.

Blessed be the holy and Immaculate Conception of the
Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God !

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, pray for us !
Hymn : Adoro Te Devote / Devoutly I Adore Thee
O Godhead hid, devoutly I adore Thee,
Who truly art within the forms before me;
To Thee my heart I bow with bended knee,
As failing quite in contemplating Thee.

Sight, touch, and taste in Thee are each deceived;
The ear alone most safely is believed:
I believe all the Son of God has spoken,
Than Truth's own word there is no truer token.

God only on the Cross lay hid from view;
But here lies hid at once the Manhood too;
And I, in both professing my belief,
Make the same prayer as the repentant thief.

Thy wounds, as Thomas saw, I do not see;
Yet Thee confess my Lord and God to be:
Make me believe Thee ever more and more;
In Thee my hope, in Thee my love to store.

O thou Memorial of our Lord's own dying!
O Bread that living art and vivifying!
Make ever Thou my soul on Thee to live;
Ever a taste of Heavenly sweetness give.

O loving Pelican! O Jesu, Lord!
Unclean I am, but cleanse me in Thy Blood;
Of which a single drop, for sinners spilt,
Is ransom for a world's entire guilt.

Jesu! Whom for the present veil'd I see,
What I so thirst for, O vouchsafe to me:
That I may see Thy countenance unfolding,
And may be blest Thy glory in beholding. Amen.

V. Lord Thou hast given us Bread from heaven.
R. Replenished with all sweetness and delight.
PRAYER
O God, Who has left us in Thy adorable Sacrament, a
perpetual memorial of Thy Passion, grant that by profound
veneration for the sacred Mystery of Thy Body and Blood,
we may experience the lasting fruits of Thy Redemption,
Who livest and reignest forever and ever. Amen.

SPECIAL PRAYER FOR THE SEVENTH DAY
In Thee, O Divine Jesus present and living in the Eucharist,
I adore the Food of our souls, the Bread that comes down
from heaven, Which nourishes and increases in us the
divine life, Which strengthens and sustains us in the labors
of the day by making us taste ineffable delights !

In virtue of this Heavenly Manna, deign, I beseech Thee,
to hear my humble prayers. Ward off from my soul and body
the dangers that surround them, and grant me graces of
which I am in pressing need. I ask them of Thee with firm
confidence and, in return for Thy benefits, I offer myself to
Thee without reserve and forever to love, serve and glorify
Thee in Thy adorable Sacrament. Amen.

Our Father....Hail Mary...Glory be....
CLOSING PRAYER FOR EVERY DAY
V./ I adore Thee now and without end.
R./ O Bread of Heaven, O greatest Sacrament.
V./ O my Jesus, and thou O heart of Mary,
I implore you to bless my soul.

R./ O Jesus, my most holy Savior. To Thee I give my
heart in purest love.

PRAYER
V./ Receive, O Lord ! and accept my entire liberty, my
memory, my understanding and my whole will and
and whatever I may have and possess. Thou hast
given me all and to Thee I return all. All is Thine,

Give me only Thy love and grace, for they are sufficient
for me. Amen.

R./ O Jesus ! Who livest in Mary, come and live in Thy
servants in the spirit of Thy power, in the truth of Thy
virtues, in the perfection of Thy ways, in the participation
of Thy mysteries; subdue every hostile power in virtue
of Thy spirit, to the honor of the Father. Amen.
